The relationship that Shaun and I have with each other is the most important relationship we have with anyone else besides the Savior. We have been married for over three years and we have a two year old little boy. Marriage takes work and we love working to grow even more in love. Each date helps. :) This blog is a record of our date nights and the story of our growing love.

We don't "hang out"!

During the summer of 2006, we were both back living in our hometown. When we "met up again" at institute (a weekly religious class), Shaun told me, "We should hang out sometime." Teasing him with the Apostle, Elder Oaks', council that young adults should avoid hanging out I replied, "You mean, go on a date?" A few weeks after that Shaun took me on our first date to a Loan Star concert at the County Fair. He is so good at "goin' courtin'" We fell in love that night and have been dating ever since! -Emily

- Exploring the Library in Salt Lake City, UT.

- Star Gazing by the church in South Willow Estates.

- Baptisms for the dead in the LDS Jordan River Temple. (Here Emily learned that Heavenly Father thinks Shaun is a very good person and it would be good to date him.)

- Attending Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeline

- Paddel boating on Stansbury lake. Shaun asked if he could kiss Emily and she said, "no." LOL
